TNZ

"Tuesday Night Zeal" is for Junior high & high school students. We meet in the youth room every Tuesday night from 6:30 - 8:00pm. We hang out and play games and have snacks the first 20 minutes then we break into four groups - Jr high boys; Jr high girls; high school guys; and high school girls - this is where we have our small group time. It's a time to get to know each other, pray and study God's word. TNZ is a great time and place to get connected and you don't have to be part of VBC to enjoy all these benefits either. Come check us out; enter through the back stairwell of the gym (the door will be open) to get to the youth room.

JOURNEY

Journey meets on Friday nights in the youth room from 7-8:30pm. This is exclusively for high schoolers. We are currently studying the book of Revelation. We plan to do outings once a month as well, maybe dinner, dessert, movie or something fun after the study. If you're interested just come by and check us out. Enter through the back stairwell of the gym (the door will be open) to get to the youth room.

Reality 

Usually the first friday of the month (check the events schedule on the front page) from May through November. Reality is from 6:30-10:00 PM in the gym. This event is open to the public and is for any student 6-12 grade who is living and breathing. We have half-court basketball; foosball, air hockey and ping pong tables; PS2's; live-band worship, food and lots of fun. We are currently puting together a coffee shop where high schoolers can hang out with friends and enjoy some fresh brew; we plan to have it open by the start of the season (May).

Crosstalk 

Sunday school for junior high and high school students. Every Sunday morning at 9:15 & 11:00 am in the youth room. We are going through the history books of the Bible (Joshua - 2 Kings). This is a great time to "plug-in", meet other youth and learn how relevant the Bible is for everyday living. Don't forget to read the weeks Bible chapters before coming so you'll have a better idea of what's taking place in the lessons. The Bible reading chapters can be found on the front page of this website and can even be accessed througn an online Bible or you can listen to the chapters by clicking on the "speaker" icon. 

TREK/JOURNEY

TREK and JOURNEY meets in the youth room Wednesday nights from 6:45-8:15; is for 7-12 grade and is made up of youth from 6 different churches in Marin.

TREK and JOURNEY is part of the AWANA program and runs from September through May. AWANA is for ages 3-18yrs. AWANA meets every Wednesday in the gym from 6:45-8:15 pm. AWANA is a nation-wide organization which helps kids from 3-18yrs of age find Biblical answers for life; which allows them to place their faith in something that they know and study on a regular basis. However, it's not all study, we also spend 30 minutes playing some VERY competitive games. Call or stop by to get more info.

Other Activities 

Other Activities coming up are "all boys" paintball, winter retreat, Battle Cry, 30 hour famine, True Love Waits, backpacking and camping, feeding the homeless and service projects; just to name a few.
